Hi Chi, thanks. Sorry for the late reply. Any customization controls shouldn't be shouting for user attention, but there is also no need to hide them on purpose. If you feel that view is already a bit heavy, you can hide them in “ 3 dots” or “settings” icon. Ideally, when adding options of customization you should put some boundaries to avoid breaking a view, like restrictions on how many widgets they can add, etc. Also maybe add restore default view possibility.
